At the same time, he falls in love with one of his students named Viji (Bipasha Basu). Their relationship is short-lived since they are caught by the dean of the college played by Aditya Pancholi. Ikkeri is suspended from his job but soon leaves for Dubai, where he becomes a kickboxer and enters into action movies. He returns several years later to his hometown, only to find out that Viji has become famous after winning Miss India 2004. She has put him on her blacklist and avoids meeting him whenever he comes to their town. Ikkeri is devastated when he finds out that she has left him and married a rich businessman.
